1. The Service

LegalForms is a web-based software application provided by TechBusy ("we", "us", "our") and accessible at legalformsapp.co.uk. The service enables UK solicitors and legal professionals to:

• Create and export digital attendance notes for police station, magistrates court, and crown court attendances
• Generate AI-assisted narrative summaries for Crown Court notes
• Create billing invoices
• Use voice dictation via the device keyboard microphone to compose notes

The service is intended solely for use by qualified legal professionals in the United Kingdom. Access is controlled by firm-level access codes issued by TechBusy.

2. No Legal Advice

The AI features in LegalForms are designed to assist with administrative drafting only. You remain solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all attendance notes, invoices, and any other documents produced using this service.

3. Acceptable Use

By using LegalForms you agree that you will:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes in connection with your practice as a legal professional
• Not share your firm access code with individuals outside your firm
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or replicate the service
• Not use the service to process data relating to individuals without a lawful basis to do so under UK GDPR
• Not use the service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair its servers or infrastructure
• Comply with your professional obligations under the SRA Standards and Regulations and any other applicable regulatory requirements

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access immediately and without notice where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.

4. Subscription and Access

Access to LegalForms is provided on a subscription basis. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are agreed at the time of purchase or as set out in any order form or agreement between your firm and TechBusy.

Access codes are issued per firm. You are responsible for ensuring that access codes are kept confidential and used only by authorised personnel within your firm. If you believe an access code has been compromised, contact us immediately at f.sewava23@hotmail.com.

We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing with reasonable notice. Continued use of the service after any price change takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the new pricing.

5. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at f.sewava23@hotmail.com.

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the service until that date
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods unless required by applicable law
• Upon cancellation, your access code will be deactivated. Any draft notes saved locally in your browser will remain accessible to you on your device until you clear your browser data
• We do not retain your attendance note content on our servers, so there is no data to export or transfer upon cancellation

6. Intellectual Property

All software, design, content, and branding associated with LegalForms — including but not limited to the application code, user interface, and documentation — is the intellectual property of TechBusy and is protected by copyright and other applicable laws.

You retain ownership of all content you enter into the service. By using the service, you grant TechBusy a limited, non-exclusive licence to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you.

7. Service Availability

We aim to keep LegalForms available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We will use reasonable endeavours to give advance notice of planned maintenance that may affect service availability. We are not liable for any loss arising from service interruptions, whether planned or unplanned.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• TechBusy's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the three months preceding the claim
• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of business opportunity, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages
• We are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated content produced by the service
• We are not liable for any regulatory sanctions, professional disciplinary action, or client complaints arising from the use or misuse of this service

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9. Third-Party Services

LegalForms integrates with third-party services including Anthropic (AI), Render (hosting), and optionally Clio (case management). Your use of features that rely on these services is also subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. TechBusy is not responsible for the performance, availability, or data practices of any third-party service.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the service after that date constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

If you do not accept the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms or their subject matter.
